MPP Damerla met with an enthusiastic group on April 21st, 2017 to establish her first ever Senior Advisory Group in the Mississauga East - Cooksville area. The group welcomed Karen Phair, Public Education Coordinator for the Alzheimer Society of Peel. She spoke about the early warning signs of Alzheimer's Disease and how to prevent them. It was a very informative, engaging and important discussion.
Followed by the guest presentation, MPP Damerla hosted a roundtable discussion with the engaged seniors.
MPP Damerla plans to continue this pattern on the third Friday of every month. Please contact the office for more information.
